Modern Frontier

Rolling pastures and picturesque lakes set the stage for a surprisingly upscale contemporary ranch house hidden half a mile from the main road. The bucolic setting, dotted with lazy herds of speckled long horn cattle, and world class horses, is interrupted by enormous bronze sculptures that hint at the museum quality art collection to be revealed within the extraordinary home of 22,000 square feet. Starting with a Western Art collection of the finest artists in America, and the largest sterling parade saddle collection in the world, adding equal portion of contemporary art from Texas, Berlin, and New York, the bar was set high for the home design. Collaboration between the designer and architect melded into an open design focused on the wonders of the outdoors, juxtaposing huge window walls with vast wall space for art display. Being a Ranch house, you would assume the interior would match the ideals of ranch life. But you would be surprised when you step foot in this contemporary home. With custom furnishings in bold color, texture and design, this space breaks the stereotype.
