North Dallas
Mary Anne Smiley’s exuberant use of color throughout this contemporary North Dallas home, is a hallmark of her work. Open spaces judiciously planned for maximum comfort and functionality provide the backdrop for a stunning art collection curated throughout the house by the designer. A former bedroom converted into a gaming room for the boys, offers flexible seating for gaming and guest sleeping options via a cool low sectional grouping from Roche Bobois. A Labrodite marble top sits on a Chinchilla Acrylic base in the dining room, pairing with Knoll dining chairs for extraordinary dining experience. A deceptively small elevator adds fun and drama with colorful lipstick wallpaper, repeated again in an upholstered storage chest in the Master closet. Makes it fun to get on the elevator!! Every passage area is maximized with unique art pieces, from the Adrian Esparza string art that fills the stairwell wall, to the three-dimensional wall hanging by Jason Williford in the upper hall exude a love of the wonders of life.
